oneLINE Mural Tour stop at 4337 Tennyson Street
This mural of Denver’s Union Station is an iconic image from Future Drawn oneLINE Gallery. Developed from an original painting on 4’ x 6’ canvas, Jonathan Applegate remapped the image so the START and END would be positioned near the buttons to the elevator. This invites you on a journey to follow the line while you wait for the doors of the elevator to open.
Jonathan also needed to remove a portion of the original painting so it would nicely fit into the lobby space. The flag is not visible in the mural, but the awning on the west side of the building has been added to balance the space around the corner. The completed length of the oneLINE is 557 feet from START to END.
When Denver’s Union Station was built in 1880, it was the tallest building west of the Missouri River. Still a hub for the city, Union Station is a great spot to enjoy downtown Denver, the food, shopping, and local scenes.
