oneLINE Evolves Again

Union Station oneLINE on canvas by Jonathan Applegate of Future Drawn 2018.JPG

For those who have read our blog, explored our website, or spoken to us personally, you already know that the oneLINE style is just one of Jonathan Applegate's many artistic talents.  You may also have correctly concluded that the oneLINE is currently our primary focus.

The oneLINE is a complex creation composed of a single line that never crosses or intersects. When you follow the line across the image from START to END the intricate pathway and genius switchbacks will surprise you with a smile.

All pieces up until this point have been pen on paper.  We then expanded our offering to include a process that allows blind accessibility to the oneLINE art. Read the story here; www.futuredrawn.com/articles/3xf8334xjhn2xcrmarsyddzmmlpjec

We are very excited to announce that Jonathan Applegate has now completed his first oneLINE on canvas.  He worked for over 100 hours on this piece to master viscosity, brush load and stroke.  The larger 3'X4' format results in a captivating oneLINE. Following the complex path is easier for the viewer, but you will still get lost, wonder at the next turn and marvel at how the piece was created by hand.

This large painted beauty will be on display at Compris Art at 4420 Tennyson Street Friday April 6th during a Silent Opening First Friday Event.  Please visit our event page at www.futuredrawn.com/first-friday.  We hope to see you there!
